Piece By Peace

Making us its toys,
Peace plays peculiar games,
Hiding amid right and wrong,
Its saunter goes untamed.

Leaving tricky tips,
Forcing a brainstorm,
Just as we try to chase,
It’s already changed form.

Joining hands in its quest,
Mankind was once together,
Unaware of its rebound effect,
Until civilizations scattered.

Falling prey to its instructions,
Some fought Peace’s wars,
Victimizing those virtuous few,
Causing their victory to mar.

Winners, yet there are,
Barely visible anymore,
Dropping crumbs of bread silently,
Keeping Peace ashore.

Look around yourself, they say,
Use the same rebound effect,
End the search, stop being its prey,
Let it wonder, you play it instead.
